About Our Center
Founded in 1978, the Auditory Learning Center (also known as the Cued Speech Center) serves as beacon of hope for families with a deaf child who want their child to be mainstreamed in the public schools and to be able to speak, to listen and to read on grade level with hearing peers.
In the five years since the Auditory Learning Center emerged out of the former Cued Speech Center, encompassing Auditory-Verbal therapy and all forms of spoken language options, the Center has sought to keep the vision and dedication of the its Cued Speech founders alive.
